Staff are leaving the NHS in their thousands due to miserable working conditions, a diminishing pay scale and a culture of bullying that comes from the top.

The news that hospitals and services have gaping staff vacancies is not surprising. The National Health Action party has warned about this worsening problem for years. The rose-tinted privatisation of maternity services is under way

‘The National Maternity Review cannot deliver its rose-tinted view of the future on the NHS’ currently understaffed and fractured services and is selling choice as the panacea for poor care’, says Jessica Ormerod, NHA’s maternity spokesperson.
